Dave played the Soprano Cornet for a while after joining Cape Town Concert Brass.  He has since migrated to Solo Cornet, with a sojourn on Trombone somewhere in between.  He also plays piano, guitar, various kitchen utensils, garden hoses, household appliances - pretty much anything you can shove a mouthpiece into... and some you can't.

By profession Dave is a Super Hot Big Band Jazz Soloist.  When he wakes up in the morning he finds that he is a Smart Card Software Engineer.

Dave recent married Ayesha.  Needless to say Cape Town Concert Brass put in an appearance at the wedding and Dave was able to serenade his bride with full accompaniment.  Dave and Ayesha have 3 'children' - Bella, Nemesis & Morpheus (cats).

Dave claims that he used to travel the world test-driving Formula 1 cars for Ferrari, but decided to find something more exciting.  He's been playing the trumpet for 24 years so far... 80% of his lifetime!
