Andrew Cahill

Andrew is our flugel horn player.  He has played the trumpet/cornet for most of his life.  He started off in music learning the violin and piano but for the past 25 years has been a dedicated brass player.

Andrew works in the IT industry as a business intelligence consultant.  He points out that "business intelligence" is unlike that great oxymoron "military intelligence".

Andrew is married to Dani.  They have two sons, Ethan (5) and Aidan (3), with a daughter due in July.

Andrew was born in Durban and grew up in East London.  He has now lived in Cape Town longer than anywhere else and so considers himself a naturalised "Kaapie".
